Founded in 1980, Rolling Stone International Music Co., Ltd., one of the top ten record companies, is an early local record company in Taiwan, a large independent record company in Asia, and is known as "the recorder of the golden years of Chinese music"

Rolling Stone Records, whose full name is "Rock Records Co., Ltd", is a Taiwanese record label founded by the brothers Duan Zhongyi and Duan Zhongtan in 1980, and is currently the largest independent record label in Asia.

Company development

In 1980, the brothers Duan Zhongyi and Duan Zhongtan founded the "Rolling Stone Audio Publishing House" in Taipei, Taiwan, which is the predecessor of Rolling Stone Records.

In 1990, Luo Dayou, the original artist of Rolling Stone Records, set up a music factory in Hong Kong, with singers such as Yuan Fengying, which ended in the late 1990s. Rolling Stone has also formed an alliance with Silly Thing in Hong Kong. In addition to Chinese mainland and Hong Kong, Rolling Stone Records also has subsidiaries in South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and other regions with a large number of Chinese people.

In 1997, Rolling Stone Records cooperated with Eastern Television, and Rolling Stone Music Station was launched (now discontinued).

2006年，原滚石旗下歌手五月天与Rolling Stone Records策略长陈勇志合作，以股东身份成立“相信音乐”，滚石旗下拥有的五组艺人（五月天、品冠、强辩乐团、丁当及梁静茹）的合约都转到了相信音乐，拥有他们的经纪合约和他们的全部音乐版权，只有唱片发行交给Rolling Stone Records（当时唱片约还在滚石）。《静茹&情歌-别再为他流泪》是梁静茹发行的第10张中文音乐专辑，于2009年1月16日发行。此专辑由环球唱片代理发行，是相信音乐首张不经Rolling Stone Records发行的专辑，亦暗示相信音乐正式脱离Rolling Stone Records的合作关系。
