Founded in 2000, Guangdian Fishing Village was named after the homonym because of the original location next to the Radio and Television Center, and in 2009, the restaurant moved to its current location, and business is still booming.

Boiled live fish and fresh fish balls are the foundation of Guangdian Fishing Village, but it is rare to see other fresh fish dishes in the store, but all kinds of Hunan dishes dominate the menu, which is why it can only be at the bottom of the list. The fish balls in Guangdian Fishing Village are very realistic, they are hand-made from fresh fish. To further ensure the freshness of the fish balls, they are available in limited quantities every day and diners need to make a reservation in advance. The fish balls are small in size, but the meat is firm and tender, and when boiled in fresh fish broth, the fish balls will float on top of the thick soup, and the whole body will be snow-white. It is tender and smooth in the mouth, with a rich umami flavor. Boiled live fish does not look good, but the fish soup is delicious and mellow, and the fish meat is tender and delicious, and it is very fresh. The other dishes in the restaurant are not as impressive as the above two, so they are not recommended.

The three-storey building at the intersection of Fuyuan Road and Shanyue Road in Kaifu District is the existing storefront of Guangdian Fishing Village, and the exterior wall is pasted with the words "Fish lovers are smart".
