W.TENDER WHISKY BAR IS LOCATED AT THE END OF NANTAI LANE, ONLY 100 METERS AWAY FROM BEN'S COCKTAIL, STAFF ONLY, VESPER AND OTHER BARS ON NANTAI LANE, BUT IT HAS BEEN OPEN FOR MUCH LONGER THAN OTHER BARS. Opened in 2013, W.TENDER has become a long-established whisky bar in Nanjing, and it is more professional than other cocktail bars.
W.TENDER has a wide variety of wines, and when you enter the store, the wine cabinet is huge, occupying an entire wall, with three floors and a capacity of more than 100 bottles. There is also a glass closet on the wall opposite the wine cabinet to house the most valuable whiskeys. The store is mainly based on whisky tasting, and the wine list is rich, mainly according to the whisky production area, that is, it is divided into four major production areas: Scotland, England, Japan, and the United States. It is also mixed with Canadian origins and some niche estates, which can be said to be a paradise for whisky lovers.
In addition to whisky items, classic cocktails are also popular in the store. W.TENDER's attentive service and bartenders are able to expertly introduce each cocktail while creating a cocktail with authentic taste. Although the ice pucks in the wine are supplied by the supplier, they are re-processed and slightly cut and polished before being put in, and the method of grinding the ice can also be seen in the high level of professionalism of the bartender.
W.TENDER's secluded environment is also decorated in the style of a speakeasy bar, and there is a combination lock at the entrance that requires a code to enter, which adds a touch of mystery to the atmosphere of the store. However, the combination lock is often useless, and sometimes the door can be entered by pushing the door, so the access control is really a gimmick. The interior of the store is mainly dark colors, mostly black and dark brown, and the black leather sofa and dark brown bar counter are quite stylish. In particular, the dim lighting in the store tends to give people a sense of mystery.
