Seasons by Olive.E - Merchant Reviews

When you think of Seasons, you can't help but think of the Four Seasons Hotel. Seasons by Olive.E is a true French restaurant with a theme of the four seasons. The restaurant is located in Causeway Bay and has been awarded a Michelin star. Chef Olive.E's menu is inspired by the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter, and even the restaurant layout is based on garden views.

Seasons by Olive.E's Afternoon Tea is unique. Different from the traditional English afternoon tea's obsession with scones and plating, French afternoon tea is more smart and playful. Afternoon tea is also served on three shelves, but the shelves are woven with real vines. When the refreshments are served, the waiter drenches water over a small potted plant filled with dry ice, creating a smoky effect for the refreshments. The smoke also has a hint of roses, and the feeling of spring is full of satisfaction, so that the sense of sight and smell is satisfied.

There are also scones, but they are much smaller than traditional English afternoon tea. Bai Lu Xun with custard and tomato juice uses seasonal Bai Lu Xun, the entrance is refreshing and refreshing, the salmon and black pearl fish puree are smooth and delicious, and the chocolate macaron is not as sweet as other macarons, but just right with tea. Coffee and flower and fruit tea are provided, but the fruit tea is brewed in tea bags.

If the temperature is suitable, afternoon tea in the garden is more idyllic. It is rare to be in Causeway Bay, surrounded by high-rise buildings, to have such a comfortable and natural environment. However, on rainy days or when the temperature is too high, you can only drink tea indoors and look out the window at the green and exquisite garden, which is also a different scenery.

Afternoon tea is served from 3 o'clock in the afternoon, and the tea is slightly different in each season, the price is about 268 Hong Kong dollars per person, and the price will fluctuate a little depending on the ingredients, and the double set menu is more cost-effective. If you happen to be shopping in Causeway Bay, head to Seasons for a short afternoon sitting. Restaurants can reserve a place and time without queuing in advance.
