Shangri-La Hotel, Midtown is the second Shangri-La hotel in Hangzhou. Compared to the first Shangri-La in the West Lake Scenic Area, Shangri-La in the City at the Kerry Centre is much more stylish and urban. Located on the first floor of the hotel, the restaurant is inspired by the fresh produce markets of Europe and Asia, and is one of the most popular restaurants in the city center.

Different from other cafeterias, which adjust the dishes on a quarterly basis, the theme of the food fair changes on a daily basis, and the theme of each month is different, and the rich and changing theme form is rare in the city. Tuesdays of one season are themed with a retro fashion theme, featuring a wide variety of mid-century European pastries. On Wednesday, for the theme of Hangzhou style, Longjing shrimp, West Lake vinegar fish, Song sister-in-law fish soup, osmanthus bird's nest, white chopped chicken, pickled Du Xian, Xiaoshan dried radish and other old Hangzhou flavors are all served. Thursday is the theme of the month, and the first day of January changes with themes such as Charlie's Chocolate Factory and Tasmanian Kobe Beef. Friday is the long-awaited theme of durian paradise for many diners, with durian cream puffs, durian chiffon Swiss rolls, coconut cream durian mousse, and durian pancake rolls. There are not many varieties overall, but most of the dishes are of consistently good quality and can stand up to Shangri-La's signature.

In addition, restaurants that are keen on global cuisine will also launch food festivals from various countries in due course. The Malaysian Food Festival is hosted by Malaysian Executive Chefs Chee Cheong and Melvin from Jinji Lake Shangri-La Hotel, Suzhou, and Malay celebrity chef Shah Xia from Shanghai. Diners in the city will be treated to a series of authentic delicacies such as Padang beef stew, prawns with sweet soy sauce sauce, spicy oxtail soup, nasi lemak, and Malaya tea prepared on site in Shah Xia. Most of the service staff are young women, with generous and elegant manners, strong ability to observe words and colors, and will take the initiative to change children's tableware for child diners, and send gloves to fresh diners. The price of the restaurant is 288 yuan for a person, 205 yuan for lunch on weekdays, and 218 yuan for lunch on weekends, in addition to a special children's lunch buffet of 98 yuan, all of which need to be booked one day in advance.
