The International Department only admits foreign students, while the International Department recruits Chinese students, creating an outstanding application record is the International Curriculum Center of Renmin University Affiliated to the National People's University of China, or ICC for short. The ICC attached to the National People's Congress only admits children of Beijing nationality and nine categories of people, and must take the Beijing high school entrance examination, but there are precedents for accepting a small number of outstanding non-Beijing students in previous years.
