Our daily coffee is located in the OCT Life Museum, focusing on SOE espresso and latte, and the daily limited handmade cakes also add a lot of points to the store. The founder, Yuan Fei, is a certified public accountant who fell in love with coffee during a chance Yirgacheffe brewing experience, and eventually opened this café with his wife. Both husband and wife hold the Q-Grader certificate, one of the most stringent coffee sensory testing systems in the world, which is based on the specialty coffee evaluation standards developed by the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA), with a focus on green bean testing, coffee roasting, coffee cupping and sensory evaluation.
The name of the store is more like a slogan, "Good beans, proper roasting and scientific brewing are our daily coffee", aiming to integrate coffee and coffee culture into every part of our daily life, so that coffee can be transformed from a refreshing drink to a way of life. The coffee beans are selected from all major producing regions around the world, and are manually sorted at least twice before and after roasting, and have passed several cupping and brewing tests to ensure the stability of the product. As the runner-up in the national green bean roasting, Yuan Fei can make each vat of green beans present a different flavor in his own hands.
The single origin coffee in the store is brewed in a special "smart cup", which combines the advantages of a French press and a pour-over pot to bring out the flavor of the coffee beans themselves. In addition to classic Italian coffees such as American, Latte, Cappuccino, Mocha and Espresso, the store will also launch some seasonal pour-over single coffees according to the season. In order to pursue the richness and balance of taste layers, the store will also blend cooked beans and launch a special blend of hand poured. If Colombia and Mandheling are essential items to test the fundamentals of a boutique café, then Geisha, which has emerged in the specialty coffee world in recent years, and various small regions and micro-batches of coffee, are largely a reflection of the owner's own preferences. In our daily coffee menu, the owner's preference for juice and tea aroma is evident, and the more intense flavors such as caramel and cocoa are not favored at our restaurant.
There are only 2-3 handmade pastries in the store every day, which are very photogenic with exquisite appearance and careful plating, but according to customer reviews, the taste is generally sweet and greasy, and diners who love sweetness or love a rich taste may wish to try it. It should be noted that our daily coffee shop is closed on Mondays, Tuesday to Thursday is only open between 11:30 and 19:00, and the opening hours from Friday to Sunday will be extended to 10:00 to 22:00, in addition, every Saturday at 11:00, there will be a free public coffee cupping event on a regular basis, so that coffee lovers can have a deeper understanding and taste of different flavors of specialty coffee.
