Known as the most British perfume brand, Pan Helligan was founded in 1870 and not only sells perfumes, but also provides hairdressing services. During the Victorian period, founder William Penhaligon was appointed as the Queen's Hairstylist and Perfumer. In 1903, he received the first British Royal Warrant, and 100 years later, he still holds two Royal Warrants, one from the Duke of Edinburgh and the other from the Prince of Wales.
With a transparent bottle wrapped around the neck and a different label on the front, William's original perfume look for Panheligan is still used by the brand, except for the 2016 Portraits collection. The Portraits collection is the high-end line of Panhelligan, and the biggest highlight of the whole collection is the golden animal head cap, each fragrance has a name, a character, and Panhelligan even compiles a relationship diagram and story background for them, which is decently shaped and suitable for collection or gifting.
In addition to the Portraits and regular collections, Panhelligan also has a lesser-known product line – Trade Routes. Inspired by the exotic goods that arrived at the docks of England at the end of the 19th century, this collection is opulent and exotic, most of them are eau de parfum, and the fragrance retention ability is significantly better than that of the regular series.
Blenheim Bouquet, Panheligen's signature fragrance, legend has it that it was one of Winston Churchill's favorite perfumes during his lifetime, and interestingly, it was very different from Churchill's image - a simple citrus perfume with a simple structure, with a strong lemon top note and a lavender fragrance that was not obvious; Musk, pine, and pepper form a modest British style, which is not obtrusive, and is very suitable for daily wear and work.
Due to the star effect, Endymion Shepherd Boy can be called the most well-known Pan Hailigen male fragrance in China. The fragrance has Panhelligan's signature lavender scent, combined with stimulating and refreshing fruity notes such as lemon and citrus, with a heart of coffee, leather and nutmeg adding sweetness and warmth to the ensemble, and a base note of sandalwood and incense. Although the shepherd boy is a man with a slightly soft temperament, it may not be suitable for most men, and it is better for women to wear it.
