IQOS于2017年6月进入Korea市场，由此引发了Korea的新烟革命，在2018年，Korea加热不燃烧烟弹则牢牢占据着10%以上卷烟份额。随着Heat-not-burn e-cigarettes在Korea的热卖，全球排名第五的Korea烟草巨头KT&G也投入巨额资金研发了Heat-not-burn e-cigarettesLil。不过目前IQOS仍占据Korea最大的加热不燃烧新型烟草份额，约为50-60%左右，Lil和Glo则紧随其后。

Under the patent barrier of IQOS and Glo, Lil had to find another way, which uses a cylindrical heating needle to heat, and circumvents the patent risk of other manufacturers by rotating the pod and then pumping it out. Since the heat of the cylindrical heating needle spreads outward from the center, the heating of the tobacco is relatively uniform, so there is no problem with inconsistent taste as in products that are heated in a ring shape such as Glo.

Lil's cylindrical heating needle is more convenient to clean than IQOS heating pads and is not easy to break, but because the contact area between cylindrical heating needles and tobacco is smaller than that of IQOS heaters, it is slightly inferior in taste experience.

Since its establishment, Lil has released a total of 3 heat-not-burn products, namely the first-generation Lil, the second-generation Lil PLUS and the third-generation Lil mini, with prices ranging from 250 to 650 yuan. There is not much difference in appearance between the Lil and the second-generation Lil PLUS, with the latter mainly improving functionality and selling at a higher price. Lil PLUS uses dual-core heating, which expands the heating area of the cylinder heating for special tobacco, and heats it more evenly, resulting in a richer taste experience. In addition, Lil PLUS incorporates a "whitening clean" system that removes dirt from the heater more efficiently.

为了提升抓握感和使用便携度，KT&G便推出了体积更小的Lil mini，更小的体积也意味着电池容量更小，在设备满电的情况下，Lil和二代Lil PLUS都可连抽20根烟弹，而Lil mini仅支持10根左右，更适合烟瘾较小的用户选购。

除了设备以外，KT&G还推出了适配烟弹fit，售价为4000韩元/盒。由于fit烟弹与IQOS烟弹具有相同规格，Lil系列设备也能兼容IQOS烟弹使用，但值得一提的是，Lil系列加热不燃烧产品的工作温度比IQOS更高，不同厂家研制的烟弹的最佳加热温度也不一致，这直接体验为口感上的不同。除此之外，加热温度更高的Lil系列在加热IQOS烟弹时也会裂解出More物质，潜在风险更大，综上，选配设备厂家提供的烟弹最为合适。

在2018年，KT&G发布了最新一代产品——Lil Hybrid，其结合了雾化器和加热不燃烧两种技术，同时具有烟油仓和烟弹仓两部分，在使用时需将烟油弹和特制Miix加热棒同时插入，缺一不可。Lil Hybrid的烟雾主要由烟油雾化产生，对比采用单一加热不燃烧技术的设备，Lil Hybrid不仅烟雾量更大，也降低了加热烟草棒产生的苦味，而与传统电子蒸汽烟对比，Lil Hybrid烟味更加纯正。目前Lil Hybrid售价为110000韩元，Miix加热棒仅与Lil Hybrid设备兼容，售价为500韩元。
