Finest is the cornerstone of Ballantine's and is a blend of malt and grain whiskies from the Highland, Lowland, Speyside and Islay regions, all of which have been barrel-aged for at least 3 years. Despite its name, Finest isn't actually Ballantine's best product, but rather a beginner whisky from the brand, with a sweet and creamy flavor of vanilla, but lacking depth and intolerance, it is recommended for beginners and mixed with other soft drinks by experienced gourmets.
