百富是格兰菲迪的姊妹品牌，两家蒸馏厂位置相邻，水源相同，同属于William Grant & Sons格兰父子集团。实际上，百富蒸馏厂最初是作为格兰菲迪的备用力量而成立的，没成想百富很快就在斯贝塞产区脱颖而出，成为苏格兰不可或缺的单一麦芽whiskey品牌。
 
Ordering malt from a regular supplier of commodity grains, without the hassle of growing and turning the malt, is a cost-effective option, as is the practice of most whisky distilleries today. However, there are a handful of distilleries, including The Balve, which still grows their own barley, and the only whisky distillery in the Scottish Highlands to use traditional floor turning techniques.
 
The PAX is characterised by the masterful manipulation of a variety of casks – the cask – a technique that is attributed to PAX's Head Bartender, David Stewart. David has been with The Balvenie since 1974 and has spent 10 years in basic training alone, and has been with the PAX for nearly half a century, and he is not only the Master Bartender of The Balvenie but also the most senior bartender in the Speyside region.
 
Double Cask 12 Vintage, Double Cask 17 Vintage, Caribbean Cask 14 Aged and Porter Cask 21 Aged are the core wines of The Balvenie and among them, Double Cask 12 is recognised. Double barrel refers to the fact that the original spirit is matured in traditional American oak barrels for a certain number of years, and after the maturation is completed, the whisky is moved to European sherry oak barrels for aging. Sherry casks add layers to the flavour of regular maturation, giving the wine a sweet fruity aroma and the sweetness of sherry, resulting in a smooth and mellow taste. The domestic price of the 12-year double barrel is 468 yuan, and the double barrel 17-year is the high-grade version of the double barrel 12 years, which is priced at 1037 yuan.
 
Caribbean Cask 14-Year-Old Single Malt Whisky is a raw spirit that has been aged for more than 14 years in traditional American oak barrels and transferred to rum casks from the Caribbean. The aroma of this whisky is intense, with a sweet and creamy toffee aroma combined with tropical fruit flavours, a round, slightly creamy palate and a long finish. On the Tmall flagship store, the price of a 14-year Caribbean barrel is 648 yuan.
 
To commemorate 30 years at The Balvenie, David created a prized high-vintage single malt. The original liquor has been aged for more than 30 years in traditional oak barrels and Spanish Oloroso sherry oak barrels, and the whisky is bottled with an alcohol content of 47.3 degrees, with a mellow taste and depth, and the price is also unattainable, selling for 7,000 yuan in China.
