How about Martell brandy brand introduction

Founded in 1715, Martell is the oldest of the three cognac brands and is now owned by Pernod Ricard Alcoholic Beverages. Martell began as a trading company selling and exporting cognac, and it was not until 1815 that the Martell family began to start a real cognac business, establishing wineries, vineyards and cellars.

Rémy Martin is obsessed with the Grande and Petite Champagne regions, while Martell is fond of white grapes from the marginal regions. The marginal area is the smallest of the cognac regions, and Martell believes that the semi-siliceous clay of the marginal region produces white grapes that give the wine a smooth mouthfeel. Martell does not over-create the wine, but rather preserves its original flavour: all impurities and sediments are removed from the wine before distillation to obtain the clearest eaux-de-vie; Fine-grained Tortline oak barrels are used to give the cognac light tannins and delicate woody aromas, with a soft taste and not a dry mouth; Use only a simmer to lightly bake the barrel to avoid excessive woody aromas.

Martell's classic masterpiece is none other than Le Cordon Bleu. Created in 1912 by Eduard Martell, Le Cordon Bleu is an X.O. combination of more than 100 eaux-de-vie and aged for 10-25 years. In the 7th and 80s of the last century, Martell Cordon Bleu was used as a wine on high-end transportation such as the European "Orient Express" and the Concorde airliner, and was also presented to Emperor Hirohito of Japan as a national gift. Today, Martell Cordon Bleu is still recognized as a high-quality cognac, with a full and round body, it is recommended to drink it neat or only on the rocks to feel the changes in the wine, and its price is roughly 1,200 yuan.

The same X.O grade, Martell X.O is one level higher than the Cordon Bleu grade. Martell X.O is made from white grapes from Grande Champagne and the Fringe and aged for 35 years, combining the power of Grande Champagne with the softness of the Fringe, a symbol of Martell's soft style. The arched bottle is another symbol of the Martell X.O, and the architectural beauty of the decanter makes it a great gift for parties. On Pernod Ricard's Tmall flagship store, the price of Martell X.O fluctuates around 1,600 yuan.

In 2012, the Chinese government introduced a policy to curb the consumption of the "Three Publics", and the domestic cognac market suffered an earthquake, resulting in a sharp decline in overall sales. In response to the "consumption crunch", Martell has launched a special affordable cognac - Distinction. As a V.S.O.P grade cognac, the price is very close to the people, and the regular price is about 350 yuan, but the taste level of Dingsheng is relatively simple, not suitable for pure drinks, and more suitable for enjoying with dishes. It also belongs to the V.S.O.P. level, but the price of Noblige and Mercier is a cut higher than the peak, hovering around 500 yuan. Compared with the same grade cognac of Hennessy and Remy Martin, Baume & Mercier is slightly inferior in smoothness and aroma performance, and the cost performance is not high.
