It has the reputation of "the ancestor of rum". Since 1667, it has been engaged in the production of rum. Blended with aged wine from Cantha's Cellars, the oldest rum distillery. Barbados is known as the birthplace of rum and produces rich, pure, slightly spicy rum. Its bartender, Chesterfield, is the only master on the island of Barbados to have been awarded the title of "Bartender of the Year". Mount Gay 1703 rum is arguably the most outstanding example of its rum, blended with rum that has been distilled in single and double pots. The wine has a deep golden color and a very dark color around the edges. On the palate, aromas of caramel, orange, roasted banana, red apple and fig are first revealed, followed by cake and leathery notes with clear oak aromas, balanced by sugar ginger, hibiscus and macadamia nuts, rich and supple on the palate. The price of this wine is more than 800 yuan. The taste of other wines is slightly inferior, and the price is not so high, between 140 and 250 yuan.
