Grand Seiko is a series launched in 1960, when there was also the King Seiko series, on the Observatory Award, King Seiko won more, but after 1976 quartz movements became popular, the two series fell silent, until 1988 Seiko resurrected Grand Seiko with quartz watches, and in 1998 launched a new 9S mechanical movement, Grand Seiko mechanical watches were officially reborn. Today's Grand Seiko, the price of a high-end manual mechanical watch is comparable to Rolex's Day Date, the factory accuracy is stricter than that of the Swiss Chronometer, and the polishing of the movement has a strong industrial atmosphere, but the details are very rich, and the internal training is very good. In terms of appearance, most of the styles still use the classic large three hands plus the calendar, the large needles and large scales, the hands are polished very sharp, the scale is also very fine, and the case is coated with non-reflective film, which is much more natural than the blue coating. Grand Seiko's main sales style is basically between 20,000 and 50,000 yuan, which is indeed a low-key and unique good choice at this price point, and if you choose a high-end manual style, you can take into account luxury.
