Sterilite is the largest plastic household goods company in North America, originally engaged in the production of wooden women's high heels, and began to produce personal products for the military during World War II, accumulating rich experience in the manufacture of plastic products. In the sixties, Sterilite also pioneered plastic products such as food storage bowls and first-generation storage boxes.
Sterilite ranks first in the Amazon storage box category in the United States. However, as a relatively mature product, the production process of the storage box is not complicated, and Sterilite's products do not have any significant advantages over China, Japan and South Korea.
Sterilite's storage box has a relatively simple design, similar in style to IKEA's Samra series, and is mainly made of PP plastic, which is more environmentally friendly. However, some products are not equipped with buckles, the sealing will be compromised, and the thickness of the plastic is relatively thin. Sterilite's products are mostly sold in multiple combinations and are relatively inexpensive in the U.S. market, but not price competitive with the domestic market.
Sterilite currently does not have a store in China, and can only be purchased through purchasing agents or Amazon's overseas purchases, but it needs to pay shipping and taxes, and the cost performance is average.
