On household end water purification products, RO reverse osmosis water purifier and ultrafiltration water purifier are the mainstream products of Pentair, while Aihuipu's water purifier is mainly a microfiltration grade product, considering the basic situation of tap water pollution in various parts of China, Pentair's RO reverse osmosis water purifier is obviously more recommended, but frankly speaking, Pentair attaches the most importance to industrial water treatment, direct drinking water for industrial and commercial institutions, whole house water purification and other high output value and high value-added fields, and the model of household end water purification products has been in a state of few. Although the directly affiliated factory in Suzhou has been in operation for many years, the localization of Pentair's reverse osmosis water purifiers is still not thorough enough, which has affected the development of Pentair's household water purification market to a certain extent.
 
At present, there are three main RO reverse osmosis water purifiers on sale in Pentair, namely GRO-350B, GRO-450 and PRO-500M, the first two are 2000 yuan products, although the price is not high, but its purification performance is weak, 50G with barrel small flux design has been difficult to keep up with the current mainstream pace, PRO-500M is currently the only banner product. Due to the limitation of the filtration principle of RO reverse osmosis membrane, most of the RO reverse osmosis water purifiers on the market need to be connected to the power supply, and the pressure generated by electricity makes the water molecules "squeezed" to the other side of the RO membrane to become pure water. In order to further improve the water production rate, PRO-500M is connected to two RO membranes imported from GE in the United States, and the final output is up to 500G ultra-large water purification flux, and the water yield rate is more than 60%, which meets the highest first-class water efficiency standard of the national standard. However, there are still many things that need to be improved in the filtration scheme of PRO-500M, first of all, the first stage filter element lacks PP cotton, and the activated carbon directly acts as the first filter layer, which is easy to adsorb excessive organic matter and lead to bacterial breeding, but also increases the work burden of RO membrane. In addition, PRO-500M lacks a filter layer between the first activated carbon layer and the RO membrane, and the falling toner is also easy to damage the RO membrane, but with the blessing of the double RO membrane, Pentair said that the rated total water purification of PRO-500M still reaches 4000L, which is at the first-class level in the industry.
 
At present, Pentair has entered the domestic mainstream e-commerce platform, PRO-500M is still the most worthwhile model to buy in the field of home water purifiers, if the water quality at home is better, and there is no demand for direct drinking water, consumers can also pay attention to Aihuipu's microfiltration water purifier, which has a good purification effect on rust, sediment and residual chlorine in the water. It's worth reminding that Pentair doesn't currently sell replacement filters separately, and when the filter reaches the end of its life, consumers can only buy a new water purifier.
