Xiamen Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. is located in the Paitou area of Haicang Taiwanese Development Zone, Xiamen City, China, bordering Xinglin Bay in the east and 870 meters away from Dongdu Port across the sea. The company covers an area of more than 500,000 square meters, with a 1.5-kilometer deep-water coastline, a registered capital of 250 million yuan, an annual output of 1.2 million deadweight tons of various types of ships, and an output value of about 5 billion yuan. It is mainly engaged in shipbuilding, steel structure manufacturing and installation, ship repair, offshore oil industry equipment manufacturing, computer technology software development and consulting services.
The layout of the company's factory is guided and optimized by senior shipbuilding experts at home and abroad, and is planned and designed in strict accordance with the modern shipbuilding model. It has nearly 1,900 skilled employees, including more than 250 with intermediate and senior professional titles. At present, it has an 80,000-ton dock, a 50,000-ton and 80,000-ton slipway, and a 289-meter, 275-meter, and 197-meter outfitting wharf, forming a production pattern of "one dock, two slipways, and three docks", and the water depth at the front of the wharf is -14 meters. The company's products are mainly exported to Europe, America, Southeast Asia and other regions, mainly 820TEU containers, 30,000 tons of multi-purpose heavy crane container ships, 50,000 tons of bulk carriers, 4,900 truck car ro-ro ships, 200 residential barges, 300 residential barges, 75-meter platform supply vessels, 78-meter platform supply ships and 99.8-meter residential maintenance barges. In 2013, the company gave full play to the leading advantages of automobile ro-ro ships, innovated and upgraded automobile ro-ro ships, and won the order of 8 8500-calorie automobile ro-ro ships from European shipowners in one fell swoop, which is currently the world's largest automobile ro-ro ship, injecting new impetus into the company's sustainable development.
