History Masanori Honjo (1934-2002), who used to work as a car salesman, ran the "Nippon Family Service" (Japanファミリーサービス) company that sold daily necessities at home stores. Then, together with his younger brother Hachiro Honjo and the joint venture company "BA Shokai" (ビーエーChamber of Commerce), he established "Frontier Tea Co., Ltd." in Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
