Pagani brand introduction

Pagani Paganilogo

Pagani Automotive, a world-renowned supercar manufacturer and a leader in the handcrafted sports car industry, is known for its extreme performance/handcrafted craftsmanship/made-to-order production

Pagani Automobili S.p.A. is a world-renowned supercar manufacturer founded by Horacio Pagani. Like the famous Ferrari, it was born in the Italian town of Modena, known as the home of supercars. Pagani's supercars are known for their extreme performance, extensive hand-crafted craftsmanship, high prices and rare production to order. The company's representative models include the Pagani Zonda, which was officially launched in 1999, and the Pagani, the Huayra, which was launched in 2011.

In 1982, 26-year-old Argentine F3 car designer Horacio Pagani was still unknown. But he accepted the advice of Juan Manuel Fangio, a five-time F1 world champion: "If you want to build the most beautiful car in the world, you have to go to Modena, Italy, to make your dream come true." ”

Listening to this advice, Pagani went straight to Lamborghini, a supercar on the outskirts of Modena, where he started as an assembler, and later not only participated in the design of Lamborghini's famous Diablo sports car, but also pointed out that carbon fiber would be the most important material in the future of car technology. In less than 10 years, he set up his own design studio, Modena Design, and with the help of Vangio, he was able to obtain AMG's state-of-the-art engines. Originally, this car was intended to be called Pagani Fangio, but unfortunately the car god Fangio passed away before the car came out, Pagani could not bear to use the name of his predecessors, and when it was officially launched in 1999, it was called Zonda, which means "the wind of the Andes".

Pagani may not have the same reputation as Ferrari in the global sports car market, but one thing they have in common is that the two manufacturers are located in Modena, the home of Italian supercars. Pagani is not like some of the short-lived sports car manufacturers, because it has the money, and it has a supercar that is all hand-built and has a staff that rivals that of Ferrari.

The world of purpose-built sports cars has always been elusive, and while there has been no shortage of successes, the lessons of failure are much more common. In particular, with the failure of stock market speculation, the negative effects caused by the self-loving practices of some brands, as well as the changes in traffic conditions and people's driving habits, coupled with the various effects caused by the globalization of the world economy, etc., have made this market extremely volatile. In such a situation, creating a new brand is a bigger risk. Argentinian Pagani started by processing for the Italian brand Lamborghini and eventually launched his own brand.

Horazio Pagani, the owner of the car company, has chosen a steady route to achieve his dream one step at a time. He first set up a processing plant specializing in the production of various parts and components of FRP. Later, a full-fledged car manufacturing company was established to develop its own unique model in honor of Argentine racing star Fang Qiao. Fang Qiao is a five-time world champion in F1. Before his death, he was full of praise for Pagani's plan and helped Pagani contact Mercedes-Benz engine manufacturers. The Zonda C12 developed by Pagani Automobile Company made its debut at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show and immediately attracted a lot of attention for its unique style.

The car's shape absorbs the characteristics of many cars from the 24 Hours of Le Mans and other endurance races, but with a distinct personality. And each part is carved like a work of art, in stark contrast to the average car produced in large quantities!
