Introducing the Ferrari brand

Ferrari logo

Founded in Italy in 1929, it is one of the world's top ten sports car brands and a world-famous manufacturer of racing and sports cars

Ferrari is the world's most famous manufacturer of racing and sports cars. Founded in 1929 by Enzo Ferrari, it manufactures Formula 1, racing cars and high-performance sports cars. In the early days, Ferrari sponsored racing drivers and produced racing cars, and in 1947 produced cars independently. Fiat owns 90% of Ferrari, but Ferrari is able to operate independently of Fiat. Ferrari cars are mostly built by hand and produced in very low volumes, with 7,195 new cars delivered by 2011, the best sales performance in Ferrari's history. The company is headquartered in Maranello, Italy.

The early Ferrari cars were designed by founder Enzo Ferrari. He designs cars as both a racing athlete and an artist, so his work is both dynamic and colorful, while at the same time designing every part of the cab to be seamless and easy for the driver to operate.

Red Whirlwind

Ferrari's racing cars are predominantly red, which is why some people call it the Red Prancing Horse or the Red Magic Magic Rari. Scuderia Ferrari is the most well-known team in the world and has long dominated various motor races. Renowned Formula 1 driver Alain Prost used to work for the team. Now, it is driven by renowned drivers Fernando Alonso of Spain and Felipe Massa of Brazil.

The symbol of Ferrari is a jumping horse. In the First World War, Italy had a very good pilot. He had such a prancing horse on his plane that would bring him good luck. After Ferrari's initial victory, the pilot's parents, a couple of counts, suggested that Ferrari should also have the Prancing Horse on its car. Later, the pilot was killed in battle, and the horse turned black. The background color of the logo is the color of the canary in Modena, where the company is located.

On 25 May 1947, Ferrari won Rome's first prize for a sports car designed and built by himself, and since then Ferrari has been sending a strong red whirlwind on roads and in major competitions.

The legendary "Ferrari Red" was originally assigned to Italian racing cars by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) at the beginning of the last century as the exclusive colour for these cars to compete in Grand Prix. In many areas of this world, color has only one symbolic meaning. In football, orange represents Dutch football and blue represents Italian football. In the automotive world, it's easy to write down a brand from a technological innovation. Turbocharging technology can make a note of Saab cars; The L6 engine is BMW's pride; 4WD represents the brilliance of Audi; The synonym for luxury cars is Rolls-Royce; Off-road vehicles are synonymous with Land Rover; F1 is synonymous with Ferrari.
