Founded in France in 1909, a well-known automobile manufacturer specializing in the production of sports cars and high-end luxury cars, is famous for its ability to produce good and fast cars, and the classic vintage cars are unique and have a large number of cars, and are now owned by the German Volkswagen Group
Bugatti is one of the most distinctive supercar manufacturers in France. Bugatti is known for producing the world's best and fastest cars. The original Bugatti brand has already disappeared after the Second World War. However, after the war, the brand was twice ZTE, and it is now a brand of the German Volkswagen Group.
Bugatti's founder, Ettori Bugatti, was born in Italy, and the factory that bears his name is located in Molsheim. This status was in Alsace, which was originally a French province that was ceded to Prussia after the defeat of France in the Franco-Prussian War, which became German territory after the unification of Germany, and which was German territory until World War I (returned to France after the war). The car factory is known for its sophisticated car manufacturing technology, and its high-end car manufacturing is even more first-class.
Bugatti was a perennial winner of the Grand Prix (the predecessor of Formula 1), and they were the winners of the first Monaco Grand Prix; Bugatti was also a perennial winner of the 24 Hours of Leman, with Jean-Pierre Wimille winning for the second time, while Robert Benoist and Pierre Veyron (the future Veyron were named in his honor) each won the championship for Bugatti.
Bugatti's cars are like works of art, the engines are all hand-built and tuned, and all the parts that can be lightweighted are not spared, and Bugatti pays attention to the details and balance of the car. He describes his main rival, Bentley, as "the fastest truck in the world" because Bentley focuses only on durability and performance and neglects lightweight. In Bugatti's philosophy of car building, weight is the worst enemy.
Bugatti is known as a Cubist artist, and he actually visited Cubist artists. A lot of Bugatti engines aren't amazing in size, but they deliver extremely powerful output, and a lot of them have three valves per cylinder. There are even supercharged ones. After seeing the engine architecture of two American Miller racing cars, Bugatti obtained authorization from Miller and began to equip its cars with DOHC structures.
Event achievements
Bugatti's achievements in racing are high, winning numerous championships in a matter of decades. The Bugatti Type 10 won the top four in the first event. The 1924 Bugatti Type 35 was arguably the most successful car in Bugatti's history, taking the world by storm and winning 2,000 championships of all sizes. Bugatti won the Targa Florio from 1925 to 1929.Louis Chiron was the driver who had won the most podiums in a Bugatti car, and Bugatti, who was planning the Volkswagen Group in the future, unveiled a concept car in his honor.
Bugatti's final achievement was the 1939 24 Hours of Lehmann, which was won by Jean-Pierre Wimille and Pierre Veyron despite the lack of resources.
History
In 1909, Italian Ettore Bugatti founded the Bugatti company in France, specializing in the production of sports sports cars and high-end luxury cars.
Bugatti products, exquisite workmanship, excellent performance, each of its cars can be praised as the world's famous cars, discontinued in 1956, when the production of Bugatti a total of more than 7,000 cars. In 1990, Italian industrialist Roman Artioli bought the ownership of the Bugatti trademark, rebuilt the Bugatti car company in Italy, and produced the world-famous EB110 series supercar, but due to poor management, it unfortunately went bankrupt in 1995. It was acquired by the Volkswagen Group in 1998 and is now owned by Volkswagen.
The Bugatti plant was originally located in Molsheim and was part of Alsace, a French province that was later transferred to Prussia after the Franco-Prussian War (the relationship between Prussia and Germany should be clear). Then it did not return to France until World War I, and was occupied by Germany in World War II. So Bugatti was located in France for a while and in Germany for a while. Although the geographical location of the plant changed in nationality (1909-1918 in Germany; In France from 1919 to 1956 and in Italy after the re-establishment in 1991), but since the important stages of its development were located in France, we still consider it a French brand. After Bugatti disappeared during World War II, it was not until 1991 that it re-established its factory in Italy.
The Bugatti Veilair EB16.4 has set an unofficial world record for the fastest production car at 407 km/h. It was later broken by Shelby Supercars (SSC)'s Ultimate Aero Twin Turbo with an average speed of 411.76km/h (recognized by the Guinness Book of Records), and Bugatti launched the ultimate Bugatti Mighty Supersport in July 2010 with an average speed of 431km/h (taking the average of its two forward and negative directions, the two test runs were 428km/h and 434km/ h) once again set the record for the fastest production car in the world (recognized by the Guinness Book of Records).
