Born in Lombardy, Italy in 1932, Valentino Garavani, the founder of Valentino Garavani, was already an artistic thinker in high school, choosing fashion design and French courses in preparation for his future move to Paris, the capital of fashion and culture. At the age of 17, he went to Paris and studied at the École des École des Dresses de la Régière, a traditional French school for haute couture.
He then moved into the studios of Jean Dessès and Guy Laroche, where he honed his appreciation and innate talent.
In the early 60s, he returned to Rome and set up his own studio (Valentino).

At the end of the 60s, Valentino Gravani met Jaccarro, who was studying architecture. Giancarlo Giammetti (who later dropped out of school to become his business partner). Gimmetti's entrepreneurial skills led to the rapid development of Valentino Gravani's studio, which spread throughout the world and achieved great success.
