Belle Group was founded on March 8, 1992, on the basis of Hong Kong Lihua Shoes Trading Co., Ltd. investment in the mainland construction of production and processing enterprises, the rapid development of production and marketing integration group enterprises, Chinese mainland famous shoe brand chain management company, Hong Kong Meibao (Group) International Holdings Co., Ltd., the United States NIKE (Nike) company, Europe ADIDAS (Adidas) company, the United States NEWBALANCE (New Balance) company, BATA, one of the world's largest chain networks in the footwear industry, and the largest partner of the American company Levy, the "world's first pair of jeans", in China.

New Belle Shoes (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. is the sales system of Belle Group in South China, with jurisdiction over more than 1,000 self-operated stores and more than 6,000 employees in Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Jiangxi and Hainan provinces. More than 10 brands such as BATA (Bajia), acting as an agent for other well-known international brands - the famous American sports brand NIKE (Nike), the famous European sports brand ADIDAS, PUMA, Converse and Mizuno, etc.

The Group's business consists of two main segments – the footwear business and the sportswear business.

Footwear business

Footwear business的自有品牌包括:Belle、Teenmix、Tata、Staccato、Senda、Basto、JipiJapa、Millie's、 Joy & Peace、:15MINS及Mirabell等;代理品牌主要包括 Bata、CAT、Clarks、Hush Puppies、Mephisto、Merrell等。

Private Label mainly adopts a vertically integrated business model, including product research and development, procurement, manufacturing, distribution and retail. The business mode of the agency brand is mainly brand agency and distribution agency.

Sportswear business

The sportswear business is currently mainly distributed by agents, including sports brands Nike, Adidas, PUMA, Converse and Mizuno.

According to the statistics of the China Industry Enterprise Information Center of the National Bureau of Statistics, in 2013, in terms of sales, among the top 10 brands in the domestic women's leather shoes market, there are 6 brands belonging to the Group, they are Belle (first), Tianmeiyi (second), She (third), Sijiatu (fourth), Bestu (fifth) and Senda-Women's Shoes (ninth). Among them, Belle women's shoes have ranked first in sales in its field for 18 consecutive years.

As at 31 December 2013, the Group had 19,077 self-operated retail stores in Chinese mainland and 156 self-operated retail stores in Hong Kong and Macau.

On July 27, 2017, Beijing time, Belle International Holdings Co., Ltd., the "king of shoes", officially announced its withdrawal from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
