Casio's products entered the Chinese market from the 70s of the 20th century. In 2003, Casio (Shanghai) Trading Co., Ltd., whose main business is to sell digital cameras, electronic dictionaries, electronic calculators, electronic musical instruments and other products, was established. In 2006, Casio (Guangzhou) Trading Co., Ltd., whose main business is to sell watches, was established. In order to further expand its business in China, on January 1, 2014, Casio (Shanghai) Trading Co., Ltd. merged the business functions of Casio (Guangzhou) Trading Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Casio (China) Trading Co., Ltd., covering the full line of Casio products sold in China. Currently, Casio has 7 sales divisions in China (Beijing, Shenyang, Xi'an, Chengdu, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen) and employs more than 400 people.
