Zhenjiu mainly uses sorghum and wheat as raw materials, adopts the traditional Daqu sauce-flavored liquor brewing technology and process, and uses pottery jars to store Zhenjiu base liquor for a long time. In 1989, it was awarded the National Quality Award (Silver Award) and officially entered the ranks of China's famous liquors.
Guizhou Zhenjiu was born in 1958 when the great man "made Moutai to 10,000 tons", so that more people could drink the same sauce flavor and good liquor as Moutai, which originated from the "Kweichow Moutai Ex-situ Production Test (Pilot Test)" project in 1975.
After 9 cycles, 63 rounds and more than 3,000 analysis tests, in 1985, "Yidi Moutai" passed the appraisal at the industry appraisal meeting presided over by Zhou Henggang and Ji Keliang, the leaders of the national liquor industry at that time: "The liquor is clear, transparent, slightly yellow, the sauce aroma is prominent, the taste is long, the fragrance lasts for a long time in the empty cup, the fragrance and trace elements are the same as those of Moutai, and it has the basic style of Moutai...... and is named Zhenjiu because of the inscription of "Treasures in Liquor".
