Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute is the only multidisciplinary ceramic undergraduate institution of higher learning in China, the name of the school is inscribed by Comrade Guo Moruo, and it is one of the first 31 universities in the country to independently recruit art undergraduates and 94 international students who are eligible to enroll international students who enjoy the Chinese Government Scholarship for master's and bachelor's degrees.

History The predecessor of the school was the China Ceramics School, which was founded in 1910, which created a precedent for Chinese ceramic education. China Ceramics School by Hebei, Hubei, Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi five provinces approved by the Qing Court School approved the establishment of the school in Raozhou, Jiangxi Province (now Poyang County), with the purpose of "cultivating talents who understand the theory and improve the technology, and improve the pottery industry".
