However, the old teahouse in Shunxing is not just a place to drink tea, this old teahouse rebuilt in 1999 integrates Sichuan cuisine, gaiwan tea, Sichuan opera and other Bashu characteristics together, becoming a place to experience Chengdu's traditional culture.

The old teahouse of Shunxing refers to the teahouses and teahouses of the past dynasties in Chengdu, and all the wall carvings, window decorations, woodcarvings, furniture, tea sets, costumes, etc. have a strong style of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Shun Hing has a construction area of more than 11,000 square meters, and the hall is equipped with a performance stage. The restaurant has 41 private rooms, including a mini room for 2 people and a super large room that can accommodate up to 50 people. There are many choices of home-cooked dishes, such as back pot meat, fish-flavored shredded pork, steamed beef and other dishes. Snacks are also the key dishes of Shun Hing, such as egg baked cake, Lai tangyuan, Longchaoshou, three cannons, Juntun pot helmet, Zhang Liangfen, Ye'er ba, chicken bean curd, dandan noodles, fat intestine hot and sour noodles, etc. However, all the dishes have been adjusted to make them more suitable for out-of-town tourists, even for diners who can't eat spicy food.

Performances such as Sichuan opera face changing, knife and horse, fire-breathing, tea art, pipa, rubber band lighting, water sleeve dance, and hand shadow play are the highlights of the night. The performance starts at 7:30 and lasts about 1 hour. There are no classes of seats, on a first-come, first-served basis, and it is safe to book a week in advance for a place close to the stage. Reserved tables are reserved until 7 o'clock, it is recommended to arrive early and order good food so as not to miss the wonderful show at 7 o'clock and a half. However, a minimum of 30 customers are required for the show to start, so if you are going to see the show, it is recommended that you check with the staff in advance.
