Lakeside business district
The Hubin business district is connected to Qingchun Road in the north, connected to the Wulin business district, Jiefang Road in the south, Zhongshan Middle Road in the east, and Hubin Road in the west. Sitting on the shore of the West Lake, it is currently the business district with the strongest ability to gather customers in Hangzhou. According to data disclosed by the Hangzhou Municipal Data Resources Administration in 2017, the number of visitors to the Hubin business district was as high as 8.4 million, close to the total number of visitors to the Qianjiang New Town business district, Chengxi business district and Xixi business district. The endless stream of tourists and rows of commercial buildings correspond to the beautiful and magnificent scenery of the West Lake, so that the lakeside business district gathers crowds from morning to night.
The distribution of shopping malls in the lakeside business district takes Yan'an Road as the central axis and extends to the north and south wings. Adjacent to West Lake in the south wing, Lakeside Yintai in77 has become a "giant" in the lakeside business district with its diverse shop formats and distinctive block layout, and is a must-visit place for tourists. The Hangzhou Kerry Centre in the north wing is a close second in popularity, with petty bourgeois positioning and light luxury routes as selling points, and is favored by white-collar workers. In terms of transportation, Fengqi Road Station and Longxiangqiao Station of Metro Line 1 run through the above two shopping malls, and public transportation is very convenient. Due to the proximity of the business district to the West Lake Scenic Area, problems such as traffic congestion and crowding on holidays cannot be avoided, so you need to pay attention to the time arrangement before traveling.
Hubin Yintai in77
Hubin Yintai in77 is the largest shopping mall in Hangzhou, with the largest number of visitors, and is also the first block-style shopping mall. Its four independent blocks integrate architectural forms such as Jiangnan arcades and European-style promenades, and gather a large number of luxury brands, makeup care, fashion brands, lifestyle and home furnishings, catering and entertainment brands. It is a dazzling business card in the field of shopping malls in Hangzhou.
Opened in 2005, Area A, formerly known as Lakeside Famous Street, is the earliest luxury store gathering area in Hangzhou, where brands such as GUCCI, Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo, and CARTIER are all gathered. It is worth mentioning that Louis Vuitton is one of the landmark buildings of in77 in the single-family building on the edge of the area, with stone and glass as the building materials on the outside, and limestone and horizontal lines to shape the architectural shape.
The architectural style of Area B follows the unique design elements such as arcades and blue bricks in Jiangnan. There are a lot of Hangzhou dishes mixed between the arcades. Other stores are concentrated on the first and second floors, mainly selling trendy brands, makeup care and sports brands. Among them, there are many well-known brands such as IT, STAYREAL, Innisfree, Maybelline, etc. The underground passage connecting the C and D areas also has a large number of snacks, desserts, leisure and entertainment shops, and is a very popular neighborhood for young people. Area C is a 600-meter-long promenade-like block, which is divided into three areas: C1, C2 and C3, and is relatively comprehensive. Gold jewelry, make-up and skin care, fashion clothing, maternity and baby products and specialty delicacies are gathered to meet all kinds of consumer needs as much as possible. The newly opened D Zone is regarded as a continuation of Zone A, which focuses on internationally renowned cosmetics and affordable luxury brands, such as Chanel, Estee Lauder and Bouthentique, while Yintai's self-operated Yintai Xixuan Supermarket is located on the B2 floor.
Thanks to the huge customer flow of in77, many brands choose to locate large flagship stores here. In January 2015, Asia's largest Apple flagship store was opened in Intime 77 Zone B. In March 2018, LINE FRIENDS, a well-known Korean cartoon brand, debuted in in77 A, its first store in Hangzhou and its largest store in the world. In addition, there are flagship stores of internationally famous brands such as LV and Stella, which are scattered in various districts of in77.
The four major regions of In77 are independent. Area A is located on Hubin Road along the West Lake, and Zones B, C and D are located on each side of the junction of Yan'an Road and Pinghai Road, respectively, and the four areas are connected by underpasses. There is no clear identification in each area, indicating the main project and consumption positioning, which brings a lot of difficulty to customer consumption. The underpass connecting the four districts is a maze of complex structures, and navigation is required to guide the route if necessary. In addition, the high foot traffic makes it difficult for the mall to provide adequate rest areas, and parking is also very tight. At present, the in77 E area is under construction, and it is reported that it will introduce tourism-themed shops, which is expected to open in November 2018.
IN77 is connected to Longxiangqiao subway station, and each exit is connected to the underground passage and bottom business of the mall, so public transportation is very convenient, so it is recommended to choose public transportation to get here. In77 is open from 10:00-22:00 from Sunday to Thursday and from 10:00-22:30 from Friday to Saturday.
Kerry Centre, Hangzhou
Hangzhou Kerry Centre is a mixed-use commercial development project under Kerry Properties Limited in Hong Kong, comprising hotels, apartments, offices and shopping malls. The mall is well-positioned to focus on young white-collar workers and family consumption, with a number of luxury brands and restaurants to meet the needs of urban consumers.
Kerry Centre is divided into a shopping mall area and a northern area. The shopping mall area is the core area of the center, covering seven floors (including the second basement floor). On the first floor, there is an Ole' boutique supermarket owned by China Resources Vanguard. The apparel area on the first to third floors includes international brands such as CK, Red Valention, Pual Frank, Massimo Dutti and VERSUS, as well as popular brands such as Uniqlo, VANS and Puma. In the living areas on the third and fourth floors, there are shops such as Qiaozhi Hairstyle, Cherry Blossom and V Beauty to provide hairdressing, eyelash beauty and fitness services. The children's area on the fifth floor features brands such as Dr. Jiang, Maladin and Little Star. The Parkview Cinema is located on the west side of the 4th and 5th floors. There are scattered clothing stores and restaurants in the North District, and the business area is much smaller than that of the shopping mall area, and there are not many bright spots.
The environment of the Kerry Centre is commendable, with a curved corridor design and orderly escalators, as well as spacious corridors and warm lighting. Paper shopping brochures and restaurant guides are available at the escalators. Compared to in77 in the south wing of the business district, the Kerry Centre has much less foot traffic. If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of in77 during the holidays, Kerry is sure to impress with its comfort and spaciousness.
Kerry Centre is connected to Longfengqi Road MRT Station, C6 and C4 are connected to the main entrance of the Centre and the North District, and there are ample parking spaces, which are easily accessible by bus or car. Kerry Centre is open from 10:00 to 22:00.
