Speaking of Ding Ji, I have to mention Ding Jintang, the father of the shopkeeper Ding Jun. He used to be the head chef of the city's long-established restaurant "Hangzhou Restaurant", and it is said that he has traveled to Zhongnanhai on behalf of Hangzhou many times to cook Hangzhou food for national leaders, and his skills are highly praised. His son Ding Jun and son-in-law Wang Ping inherited their father's mantle and founded the Ding Kee restaurant brand in 2004, which has become a well-known late-night snack restaurant on Hedong Road. The original flavor of the ingredients is simmered over low heat with only a small amount of cooking wine, spices and secret recipes until the meat turns from red to white, then sliced and served on a plate with white paper. The thinly sliced beef has a clear texture and a crispy texture, and is dipped in the store's special yellowed salt powder, which makes the meat of the beef so delicious that you can't stop chopsticks. It should be noted that the old store on Hedong Road is now closed, and customers only need to move a few dozen meters in the direction of Changban Lane to reach the new store.

Opened just six years ago, it has nearly 40 branches in Hangzhou, Shanghai, Lianyungang and other places in the form of direct sales and franchises, and can be called the largest kebab restaurant in Hangzhou. The brand's store on Hedong Road is conspicuous by the large lighting sign and the refrigerator oven lined up at the entrance. The well-laid out card seats and ceiling lamp wall decorations also add a lot of points to the store's image.
