West Lake Spring is one of the few Cantonese restaurants in downtown Hangzhou where both branches are full of customers.

Founded in the mid-80s of the 20th century, West Lake Spring Group has several sub-brands: Jiangnan Taste, Jiangnan Chef and Yuexiu. West Lake Spring is headquartered in Shenzhen, and Hangzhou cuisine is its strength, but when it comes to Hangzhou, in addition to Hangzhou cuisine, Cantonese cuisine elements also appear on the restaurant menu, which occupies a lot of space.

The decoration of the two branches in West Lake Spring is almost the same, with black sofas and white tablecloths, and oil paintings on the walls. The decoration of the Zhaohui Road store is more novel and elegant, decorated with red chandeliers, wine cabinets, etc.; Although the façade of the Nanshan store looks cramped, the private room with a view of the lake has won a point for it.
