Conrad Restaurant is the largest Cantonese restaurant in Hangzhou, with a very low-key façade but a good flavor.

Conrad Restaurant has a lobby of about 500 meters, while the other 2,000 meters of space are private rooms, each with a private toilet. Some of the private rooms are movable wooden partitions, and the largest private rooms can open up to 6 rooms, which is enough to accommodate nearly 100 people for a company dinner.

The menu of Conrad has a high degree of overlap with the Cantonese restaurants in Guangdong, and Hangzhou cuisine is only a supporting role here. In addition to the common siu-mei, brine, and soup, there are also many specialties on the menu. Conrad is also one of the few restaurants that makes snakes, and the seal snake can be made into three flavors: salt and pepper, braised with double green onions and red stew, each with its own merits. Oatmeal Porridge Shui Tang Burning Conch imitates the form of rice porridge, using oats, chicken broth and vegetable grains to make a porridge base to boil the snails, it is very interesting to watch the process from raw to cooked, the meat of the snails is elastic and tough, and the porridge base is also silky and delicious. Ginger and scallion fish mouth, salted fish and lotus root cake are the home-style delicacies of Cantonese people, and they rarely appear in Cantonese restaurants in Hangzhou.
