Tang Paradise - Institutional Reviews

Tang Paradise is located in Qujiang New District, backed by Qujiang Pond, overlooking the Shaanxi History Museum and the Great Ci'en Temple. The park covers an area of about 1,000 acres and is the largest cultural theme park in Northwest China. In order to reproduce the golden building and jade hall and royal gardens of the Tang Dynasty and reproduce the style of the Tang Dynasty, the Tang Furong Garden specially invited Zhang Jinqiu, the architect of the Shaanxi History Museum, Xi'an Museum, Xi'an Bell and Drum Tower Square and Famen Temple, as the chief architect. The park is carried out on the site of the Furong Garden, the original Tang Dynasty Royal Forbidden Garden, and many imitation Tang Dynasty buildings have been restored and newly built, which is known as "the largest imitation Tang Dynasty royal building complex in the country".

Fengming Nine Days Theater is one of the important attractions in the park. The song and dance drama "Dream Back to the Tang Dynasty" is the repertoire of the theater, which tells the history through dance, supplemented by multimedia equipment such as lighting and sound, and reproduces the prosperous scene of the Tang Dynasty. "Dream Back to the Tang Dynasty" is the same as Hua Qingchi's repertoire "Song of Long Hatred", both with the theme of the Tang Dynasty, but "Song of Long Hatred" is mainly based on the love story of Tang Xuanzong and Yang Guifei, while "Dream Back to the Tang Dynasty" shows the audience a multi-faceted dynasty through scenes such as the dancing of the concubine, the battle in the field, and the Silk Road. The program is magnificent, it is the most exciting program in the park, and it is recommended that visitors who come to the Tang Paradise to play can buy tickets to watch.

The Imperial Cultural District is the most important imitation Tang Dynasty building complex in the park, and is represented by Ziyun Tower. Ziyun Building has no old site for a long time, and it is rebuilt with only a few words in historical materials and the imagination of designer Zhang Jinqiu. The four-storey resource building introduces the imperial culture of the Tang Dynasty through sculptures, murals, models and multi-functional performances. In addition, there are many scenic spots in the park, such as the Ladies' Pavilion, the Imperial Banquet Palace, Hong Lim Garden, the Apricot Garden, and the Lu Yu Tea House.

In order to meet the shopping and eating needs of tourists, the Tang Paradise has set up a shopping block "Tang Market" and a catering area "Imperial Banquet Palace". Tang City is composed of Tang Bazaar and Theater Square, mainly selling cultural and creative souvenirs and Xi'an specialties, and often holds folk performances such as Qin dialect and acrobatics, and there are special performances such as hydrangea selection and neon dress and feather dance on weekends. The Imperial Banquet Palace is intended to display the food culture of the Tang Dynasty, and the catering is mainly buffet, and undertakes group banquets, business banquets and party banquets.

Different from real places of interest such as Huaqing Pond and Terracotta Warriors, the Tang Paradise is only an antique building complex, and the ticket price of 120 yuan is higher. If you are interested in going, you can check the ticket price online in advance to avoid spending more money.
