Both are food streets, Yongxingfang is different from Muslim Street; Yongxingfang not only sells food, but also culture. Yongxingfang brings together food and culture, focusing on the experience of Guanzhong food and folk customs. Yongxingfang is located in Shuncheng Lane on the north side of Zhongshan Gate of Xi'an City Wall, only a few steps away from Dongxin Street Night Market, and stands close to the root of the city wall.

Yongxingfang was the location of Wei Zhengxiang's mansion in the Tang Dynasty, and Yongxingfang gradually fell into dilapidation during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Yongxingfang Food Street opened in 2007, but it has been little known. It was not until 2017 that the spread of "bowl wine" on the Internet made Yongxingfang known to foreign tourists and became another popular commercial food street after Muslim Street.

The area division of Yongxingfang is clear, and it is divided into three areas: Guanzhong Street, North Shaanxi Street and South Shaanxi Street. Guanzhong refers to central Shaanxi such as Xi'an, Baoji, Xianyang, and Weinan; Northern Shaanxi refers to Yulin City and Yan'an City, which belong to the northern region of Shaanxi Province; Southern Shaanxi refers to Hanzhong, Ankang and Shangluo. The smash hit bowl wine on the Internet has become a major feature of Yongxingfang, and countless people line up just to feel the thrill of throwing bowls, and countless broken bowls are piled up in the corners, and the number is amazing. It is recommended that you can queue up to try it when there are few people, and you don't have to wait if the line is too long.

The Shaanxi Intangible Cultural Heritage Food Museum in the workshop gathers Shaanxi intangible cultural heritage delicacies such as Guanzhong Banquet, Southern Shaanxi Banquet, Chang'an Night Banquet, and Flavor Snack Banquet, and has become a window to display the cuisine of Shaanxi townships and counties. Yongxingfang also arranges folk variety shows such as storytelling and shadow puppetry in northern Shaanxi, so that you can learn more about the local folk characteristics of Shaanxi while enjoying the food.

There are a total of 107 Shaanxi township and county specialties in Yongxingfang, and the food is basically not the same, which is the proposition of "one county, one product, one city, one taste", which is in stark contrast with the food in Muslim Street with a high overlap rate. However, whether it is fame or characteristics, Yongxingfang is only the beginning, and it is not enough to reach the level of Muslim Street.

In order to standardize the management of the snack street, consumption in Yongxingfang needs to apply for a meal card at Yongxingfang all-in-one card, and the store does not accept cash, but supports WeChat or Alipay scan code payment. There are seven locations in the workshop where you can apply for a meal card, with a deposit of 10 yuan and a minimum charge of 20 yuan, which can be handled in cash. If there is still a balance in the card after visiting Yongxingfang, you can return to the counter for a refund.
