The catering company is owned by Jinxin Industrial Company, a subsidiary of Shaanxi Investment Group, a state-owned super-large enterprise in Shaanxi, and has a strong background strength. Opened in May 2018, Koi Nishiki Japanese Restaurant (Xi'an SKP) and Koi Restaurant in Sofitel Xi'an belong to the same food and beverage management company, but the two stores are independent and not directly related.

Koi Nishiki Japanese Restaurant (Xi'an SKP Branch) is led by Japanese chef Ichiro Ito. With nearly 50 years of experience in the Japanese cuisine industry, Ichiro Ito has served as a chef at five-star hotels in Japan, the United States, Thailand, and Singapore.
