Cafes sell sweets more or less, but there aren't many shops like Hei Ha that do both well. Founded in 2013, Pingqian was initially a small private store dormant in an office building, and in the summer of 2016, Pingqian opened its first physical store.
There are not many types of Pingqian coffee, although the single product coffee depends on the actual situation of the day in the store, there are often only three to four choices, and the bean varieties are also relatively common. In contrast, the selection of espresso is wider, with the café au lait series being the main product in the store. Milk coffee is often referred to as latte, and the series has a variety of products, including vanilla milk coffee, toffee hazelnut milk coffee, sea salt caramel milk coffee, rose milk coffee and so on. Sea Salt Caramel Milk Coffee has a high selection rate, its taste is sweet, customers who are not used to sweet coffee choose half sugar in advance, and are slightly disappointed that the sea salt in Sea Salt Caramel Milk Coffee has a bland taste and a relatively single layer.
Although it is a five-year-old store, Pingqian is not meticulous enough in service. The staff did not clean up the table quickly enough, did not know the specific requirements of the customers when ordering, and sometimes made mistakes such as mistaking the temperature of the drink.
Located in the Folk Garden, the decoration style of the flat is more Japanese-style than the Scandinavian style of other cafes. The store is also very particular about its furnishings: a custom-made La Marzocco espresso machine, a pour-over pot with Takahiro and Noda enamel, and a wide range of Hario products. The shop has three floors, the first floor has a bar counter and some tables and chairs, the second floor has only one row of counters, and the third floor is relatively open with more seats. Most of the customers come to the store to take pictures, and the store is noisy, which causes some trouble to other customers.
