BanToo Bantu South African Red Wine Western Restaurant - Business Reviews

South Africa is known as the Land of Rainbows, and Bantu South African Wine Restaurant also brings together the cuisines of many countries and is known for its diversity. Many of the dishes in the restaurant have the characteristics of French, Italian, German, Mexican and Indian cuisine, and the overall menu is mixed but not refined.

Wellington steak is known as the "hardest steak to make", and many chefs have failed in this dish in the well-known American chef talent show "Hell's Kitchen". Authentic Wellington steak consists of filet mignon, mushroom sauce and puff pastry: the steak is medium-rare pink, the mushroom sauce is dry and rich, the outer puff pastry is crispy and intact, and most importantly, the three ingredients need to be tightly connected without gaps. Bantu's Wellington steak has a loose puff pastry with a slightly wider gap, which is still far from the authentic standard, but it also reflects the flavor characteristics of the dish well, and is suitable for early customers.

Slow-roasted beef bone marrow is a wild recipe made by taking whole beef front leg bones supplemented with British sea salt and special oxtail meat, and the large leg bones are covered with minced meat and beef bone marrow, which is mellow and delicious when eaten with crispy toast. The Black Pepper Sweet Shrimp is made from plump Argentine deep-sea red shrimp, marinated in white wine to remove the fishiness, and poured in the chef's own black pepper sauce, which makes the shrimp sweet and the black pepper spicy to whet the appetite.

In addition to the meal, wine is also a must-try item in Bantu. The restaurant maintains cooperation with Xi'an Adilina Trading and Import Company and Yuexing Wine Academy all year round, and serves hundreds of South African wines, including Simmonsley Winery, Eagle Trail Winery, Sarah's River Winery, Bencarry Winery, Richbeck Winery, and Ruyibao Winery, and will also hold wine parties from time to time. Diners who want to enjoy a drink will be able to let the on-site professional sommelier help with the dishes to ensure the best South African wine experience.

Bantu's environment is as mixed and matched as the dishes. The garland and green wall at the entrance have the natural primitiveness of South Africa, the white wall as a partition has a Nordic solemnity, and a red mailbox in the center shows a touch of British style. The restaurant is located in the office building of Greenland Linghai Building, and the entrance is located on the side of the building.
