Jin Fo Mountain-Institutional Reviews

Jinfo Mountain is 120 kilometers away from the downtown area of Chongqing, and belongs to the same karst landform as the Wulong Karst Tourist Area, with more than 100 mountain peaks standing in it. In addition, there are more than 5,000 species of plants in the whole park, which has high academic research value. Today's Jinfo Mountain is a world natural heritage and a national 5A-level scenic spot.

The most majestic and magnificent thing in the scenic area is the Jinshan cliff that stretches for several kilometers and is more than 100 meters wide. The cliff is almost perpendicular to the ground, and the large bare rock formations reflect a large amount of golden light under the sunset, which is very conspicuous, and there is the scene of "Golden Buddha He Cui Wei, misty clouds", the name of Golden Buddha begins here. In the past, tourists could only watch the Jinshan cliff from afar, and there was no way to go, and later the park opened a plank road with a total length of 3.5 kilometers and a suspension height of 40 to 50 meters on the cliff, which extremely tested the psychological quality of tourists. When the weather is clear, visitors can visit the mountain scenery on it, and the whole cliff is covered with clouds and smoke during the foggy season, which is quite like a mysterious fairyland.

The Nine Lotus Treasure Peak is located in the highest peak of the Golden Buddha Mountain Scenic Area, Phoenix Ridge (2238 meters above sea level), which is the highest viewing platform in the scenic area. Tourists will be placed here after walking the plank road. Whenever the weather is sunny and the sea of clouds in the mountain is churning, such a grand scene is full of visual impact. Step on the platform and watch the vast sea of clouds flowing under your feet, as if you are at the end of the world.

When you go to Jin Fo Mountain, you naturally have to experience the Jin Fo Mountain Cableway, which has one of the highest slopes in the world. The scenic spot adopts a complete set of cable car mechanical and electrical equipment designed, produced and debugged by the French Boma company, and regularly maintains it, with a high safety factor. The longest ropeway in the scenic area is 2,700 meters long, the vertical height is 900 meters, and the cable car runs at a speed of 6 meters per second.

Bitan Valley is the most popular scenic spot in the scenic area, and there is no shortage of reasons because it is closest to the main entrance of the scenic spot. The canyon has the lowest altitude in the whole scenic area, in which the vegetation is verdant, the annual rainfall reaches 1400 mm, there are 260 days in the foggy state of the year, and the average temperature in summer does not exceed 20 °C, which is an ideal summer resort. As soon as you enter the valley, you can hear the bubbling mountain spring, as if it coincides with the wild cherry blossoms in full bloom, the layers of flowers and trees in the canyon are dazzling, and inhaling a breath of grass and flowers is even more refreshing. The original style of the winding paths here has long become a sacred place in the hearts of travelers. The scenic spot has specially set up a camping tent hotel, and divided the corresponding areas for groups, couples, and self-brought tent tourists, so that tourists can get a deeper feeling in Lin Tao's bird language.

It is worth mentioning that the Jinfo Mountain Scenic Area can actually be divided into two parts, one is located in the Bitan Valley at the bottom of the mountain and the north and west slopes of the mountain. Because tourists need to walk 2 kilometers to reach the Bigu Secluded Tan after entering the scenic spot from the main entrance, and then tourists have to climb 5 kilometers in the canyon, which is a great test of foot strength. If you don't have much time to visit, you can take the scenic bus up the mountain and then take the cable car to the top of the mountain. The scenic spots on the top of the mountain used to be distributed in a ring, and tourists can directly visit the circle and then decide whether to go down the mountain to see the Bigu Secluded Tan.
