Chongqing Liangjiang Tour-Institutional Reviews

Whenever you visit a city that is crossed by a large river, its water transportation sightseeing is usually the one that tourists choose to experience. While this may seem cliché to many, it's a quick way for newcomers to get to know a city. The Yangtze River and Jialing River wrap around the Yuzhong Peninsula in the center of Chongqing, making the mountain city always have a strong wharf cultural color, which also provides a high experience value for the Chongqing Liangjiang tour.

The night view of the mountain city was small as early as the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, and was listed as one of the twelve scenic spots of Bayu by Wang Erjian, the magistrate of Ba County at that time. However, at that time, Wang Erjian was just watching the lights of Chongqing's thousands of homes from Xiaoliangzi (near today's People's Park), which is not the same as the scale of today's night scene. In 1988, the Chongqing Liangjiang Tour was officially opened, and the Chongqing Evening News only carried a small report, without much publicity on the scenery of the two rivers. Shen Fakang, former chairman of the labor union of Chongqing Passenger Ferry Company, also said: "At that time, the main purpose of the Liangjiang tour was to enjoy the cool air, and there was no night view on both sides of the strait. "After Chongqing became a municipality directly under the central government, the speed of urban development has become more and more rapid, and in the 21st century, it has increased the efforts to build lighting projects on both sides of the strait, and the reputation of Chongqing's two rivers tour has also been promoted.

Cruise ships generally depart from Chaotianmen Wharf, go up the Jialing River to the Huanghuayuan Bridge, then turn back to the confluence of the two rivers, follow the Yangtze River to the vicinity of the Sheraton Hotel, and finally return to Chaotianmen Wharf. During this period, visitors can enjoy Nanbin Road, which is known as the Bund of Chongqing, the bustling Jiefangbei Central Business District, the Hongya Cave Folk Style Area with the traditional architectural feature of Bayu "Hanging Corner Tower" as the main body, the Yangtze River Cableway, and the Huguang Guild Hall, a symbol of Chongqing immigrant culture, and other scenic spots. Although tourists can't stop at the boat to find out, they can still leave a general direction in their minds and look for it later.
