The Wushan Small Three Gorges does not belong to the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, but is located in the Daning River, a tributary of the Yangtze River, so it is also known as the Small Three Gorges of the Daning River. Compared with the grandeur of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, the small Three Gorges of Wushan appear exquisite and elegant. Starting from Wushan County in the south, the small Three Gorges in the north to the ancient city of Dachang is 50 kilometers long, composed of Longmen Gorge, Bawu Gorge and Dicui Gorge, known as "Longmen Bawu even Dicui, strange mountains and beautiful waters win the Three Gorges".

Longmen Gorge:

From the Daning River into the Yangtze River, the first canyon is Longmen Gorge. The canyon is 3 kilometers long, the shortest in the Small Three Gorges. The confrontation between the two mountains at the mouth of the gorge is like a door, and it is praised by tourists as a small gate. The completion of the Longmen Bridge makes Longmen Gorge more like the gateway of the Little Three Gorges.

There is a lion-shaped stone peak not far from the mouth of the gorge, facing the gate of the two mountains, and this scene is called "the lion guarding the gate". In addition, there are such pinnacles in the canyon, such as "Nine Dragon Pillars", "Lingzhi Peak" and so on. When the ship sails out of Longmen Gorge, it is the famous "Yinwo Beach". Before the Three Gorges Water Conservancy Project was completed, the water level here dropped by about 8 meters, and the water flow was extremely fast, so tourists had to get off the boat before walking to the upper beach. In ancient times, merchants had to hire slender men to pull boats to the upper beach, and many cargo ships capsized here, dropping gold and silver treasures, from which the "Silver Nest Beach" came from.

Bawu Gorge:

Continue north from Longmen Gorge, not far away is the second gorge of the Little Three Gorges - Bawu Gorge. The canyon is 10 kilometers long and is named after its tributary, the Bawu River. The strange rocks here are craggy, and the characteristics of the peaks and loops have always been praised by people. For example, there is a relief sculpture that looks like a turtle embedded in the stone wall at the mouth of the canyon, which is named Turtle Beach. There are also various strange stone landscapes in the canyon, such as monkey fishing for the moon, Magui Mountain, Huilong Cave, fairy throwing hydrangea, etc., combined with the deep canyon misty and misty, which is very mysterious.

There is also a landscape of black hanging coffins in the canyon, which people call "iron coffins". In the early years, there were many hanging coffins in Bawu Gorge, and there are not many of them. "Boat coffin burial" is actually the ancient funeral ceremony of the Ba people, which is a ceremony held by the descendants of the pioneer of Pakistan to commemorate the minister, and the descendants and ministers have followed suit, forming a custom. Therefore, Bawu Gorge is also known as Iron Coffin Gorge.

Dicui Gorge:

With a total length of 20 kilometers, Dicui Gorge is the deepest canyon in the Small Three Gorges. There is a Chibi Mountain that is several kilometers long, about 100 zhang high, and the whole body is red and yellow, and tourists pass by by like ants. The mountain is even more red under the illumination of the sun, and it is named "Red Cliff Skyscraper". In addition, there are also landscapes such as water curtain caves, cliff Buddha statues, and Tianquan Flying Rain in Dicui Gorge, all of which are worth seeing.

Little Three Gorges:

The Little Three Gorges is located on the Madu River, a tributary of the Daning River, at the Dicui Gorge of the Daning River, and is the sister gorge of the Little Three Gorges, named because it is smaller. The canyon is 15 kilometers long and consists of Changtan Gorge, Qinwang Gorge and Sanzhu Gorge. The waterways of the canyon are narrower and therefore deeper.
