Hong Kong's Lo Fung Ice House, also known as Leung Kee Restaurant, has been standing in Sham Shui Po for nearly 50 years. Scrambled egg toast with black truffle is a typical example, the eggs are stir-fried with butter, and the heat must be controlled, otherwise the eggs will be old and burnt and affect the taste. After it comes out of the pan, it is served with black truffle sauce and toast, and it is smooth and juicy in the mouth, without any sense of disobedience.
As the name suggests, Bobo milk tea has spherical ice cubes in the cup, which is very different from our common milk tea. Traditional milk tea uses cold boiled water to make ice cubes, but the three spherical ice cubes in Bobo milk tea are all made of milk tea, so the milk tea will not be diluted as the ice cubes melt, and each sip is as fragrant as the first sip.
The nostalgic style of the restaurant is made with old-fashioned envelopes on the menu, and posters from the 60s and 70s on the walls, making every customer feel as if they have stepped back in time to Hong Kong. The seats in the store are designed to be booths, so they are crowded in order to restore the old style. Moreover, the store supports Alipay and cash payment, and you can talk to the waiter in advance at the checkout.
It should be noted that this is not the same store as Guangzhou Panyu Laofeng Ice Room. At present, all the food reviews about Panyu Laofeng Ice House mention that Hong Kong Lao Feng Ice House has long disappeared, in fact, it is just a name change. Panyu Laofeng Ice Room is modeled after Hong Kong Liang Kee Restaurant from the decoration style to the menu style, but the production is far inferior to Liang Kee Restaurant, and the best tea restaurant in Panyu is still the Big Brother Restaurant.
