Founded by the Shanghai Writers Association, adjacent to the Shanghai Writers Association, the Writers' Bookstore is a small two-story western-style building. If it weren't for the reopening on April 23, 2018, not many people would have known that there was actually a bookstore at 677 Julu Road next to Eros Garden.

In the past, the Writers' Bookstore was only open to members of the Shanghai Writers Association and a small number of interested literature lovers, and the general public knew little about it, so the store was very quiet, far less lively than the café downstairs, and it was a place where you could read, think, and meet friends quietly.

The Writers' Bookstore has been renovated and is now reopened, with both floors owned by the bookstore. The first floor is the main book display area, in order to create a clean place for reading, the bookstore is very simple in decoration, there is no complex layout partition, the atmosphere is simple mahogany bookshelves, with a unified color desk, visually very elegant. The second floor is where the coffee rest area is located, and the landscape on both sides has its own beauty, one side is the Eros Garden, and the other side is the Sycamore Avenue.

The Writer's Bookstore is a literature-themed bookstore with a collection of more than 3,000 books, 80% of which are literary books. Local writers in Shanghai are naturally an important part, and the bookstore has set up two exclusive bookshelves for writers who are members of the Writers Association, and the works of Shanghai writers that cannot be found in the market can be found here. Relying on strong writer resources, the writer's bookstore takes the writer's autograph book as its own feature, and there are signed books with the writer's handwriting on the shelf.

The writers' bookstore has always been the living room of the association, and the writers of the association often hold book signing and sales here. However, because it is adjacent to the writers' association, even when there are no activities, it is very likely that you will meet your favorite writers in the bookstore, which is probably the biggest surprise that the writers' bookstore can give to readers.
