"Yakexi" means delicious in Uyghur language, and the restaurant is as its name suggests, with solid dishes and a relaxed atmosphere. Yakexi has been open for nearly 20 years, and compared to the new restaurants in the area of Jing'an Temple, it looks old, but the taste as always has retained many old customers in the neighborhood for it.

Yakexi is a typical traditional Xinjiang restaurant with a complete range of dishes, and there are basically mainstream Xinjiang dishes. The seasoning of the dishes is outstanding, and there are four kinds of lamb chops alone: ancient grilled lamb chops, Zixiang lamb chops, nine-spiced lamb chops and snowy lamb chops. 30% of the customers in the restaurant are foreigners, and lamb is their favorite. Guests prefer two flavors, Zixiang and ancient roast, the former uses 60-day lamb ribs, marinated and roasted, cumin aroma is very strong; The latter is thinner and more authentic.
