Unlike most international schools located in the suburbs of Beijing, Lecheng is one of the few international schools located in Beijing's CBD, with expansive and state-of-the-art campus facilities in the heart of the city. The middle and high schools share a state-of-the-art building with bright classrooms, with the smallest 108-square-metre classroom equipped with science labs, performing arts studios, visual arts studios, and a library. In terms of sports, the company has a sports complex and an outdoor sports field, which includes a fitness room, basketball court, tennis court and climbing wall, while the outdoor sports field includes a running track and a large artificial turf sports field.
ACIS is a fully accredited international school by the Association of International Schools (CIS), accredited by the Western Association of Colleges and Schools (WASC), and a member of the Association of Chinese and Mongolian International Schools (ACAMIS) and the East Asia Regional Council for Overseas Schools (EARCOS).
BCIS has three divisions, namely Kindergarten (ECC), Primary and Secondary, with a total of 15 grades from Kindergarten to Grade 12. We are accredited by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB) and are qualified to offer the full IB curriculum to students aged 3 to 18, using the IBPYP curriculum in the primary school, the IBMYP curriculum in the middle school, and the IBDP curriculum in grades 11-12. The curriculum includes Chinese learning and Chinese culture experience, and students from Kindergarten to Grade 5 take a daily Chinese lesson to ensure that students are exposed to and experience Chinese culture, language and traditions. We have set up counselors in each school department, and if students need any needs in the learning process, they can contact the appropriate teachers for help, including social, emotional, academic and further education counseling.
All students applying to Lok Cheng Secondary School are required to take the SSAT test and provide SSAT score reports to apply, and students and parents are interviewed separately, all interviews are conducted in English, and if parents are unable to interview in English, they need to invite an interpreter to accompany them to the interview.
