Tiananmen Square is located on Chang'an Avenue in Beijing, 880 meters long, 500 meters wide, with a total area of about 440,000 square meters, the square ranges from Tiananmen Square in the north to Zhengyangmen Gate in the south, from the Great Hall of the People in the west to the National Museum of China in the east, it is the largest square in the world. The total area of the city platform is 4,800 square meters, and there are ladders on both sides, which can be used for going up and down the city tower. There are five gate gates in the city, the door hole in the middle is the largest, it is the place where the ancient emperor enters and exits, and now the portrait of Chairman Mao is hung, and the two sides are hung with two slogans of "Long live the People's Republic of China" and "Long live the great unity of the people of the world". Corresponding to the five gate are five white marble bridges, also known as Jinshui Bridge, which are also the most exquisite and atmospheric with the "Royal Road Bridge" in the center. Of course, the two pairs of solemn Huabiao in front of and behind the tower and the two pairs of stone lions at both ends of the Jinshui Bridge have become an inseparable part of the Tiananmen Tower in the history of hundreds of years.

Unless there is a special event, Tiananmen Square is open to tourists, and you need another 15 yuan ticket to climb the tower, and the city tower is open from 8:30 to 16:30, but the security check is very strict, except for dangerous goods such as lighters, drinks and food can not be carried up to the city tower, and your luggage needs to be stored. It is important to remember that you must bring valid documents such as ID cards, otherwise you will not be able to climb the building.

The Great Hall of the People is located on the west side of Tiananmen Square, where important political conferences of the People's Republic of China are held, where the Standing Committee of the Chinese People's Congress is located, and where the Communist Party of China and state leaders hold political and diplomatic affairs. The annual National People's Congress, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and the five-year National Congress of the Communist Party of China are held in the Great Hall of the People. The Great Hall of the People is also one of the symbols of China, and in the fifth edition of the renminbi, behind the 100-denomination banknote is the Great Hall of the People, which can be said to be deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. In addition, the Great Hall of the People also hosts some art and music exhibitions in normal times.

The Great Hall of the People is 336 meters long, 206 meters wide and 46.5 meters high, covering an area of 150,000 square meters and a construction area of 171,800 square meters. As an important place for China's political activities, the Great Hall of the People is a solemn and majestic building, with two wings slightly lower in the shape of a mountain.

The Great Hall of the People is dominated by yellow granite, with yellow and green glazed tiles on the eaves and a 5-meter-high granite base at the bottom. The Great Hall of the People is surrounded by a total of 134 circular columns, the main entrance inlaid with the national emblem of the People's Republic of China and the twelve light gray marble pillars in front of the door, which are the most classic and well-known features of the Great Hall of the People. The Great Hall of the People mainly has the central hall, the Great Hall of 10,000 people and the office building in the south, in addition to the halls and offices of various provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, each of which has its own local characteristics, but at present, only a small part of the Shanghai Hall and the Sichuan Hall are open. The tour time of the Great Hall of the People is 1 to 2 hours, and the adult ticket is 30 yuan, so it is recommended to arrange the tour route according to the indoor directions and avoid non-open areas.
