The park is divided into two parts: a car tour area and a walking tour area. The bus tour area is located in the western half of the park, with large-scale stocking of wild animals as the main feature; Located in the eastern half of the park, the walking tour area features rare wildlife from all over the world, and the major theaters are located in the walking tour area.

In the walking area, visitors have many opportunities to get up close and personal with the animals, such as buying a variety of animals to feed their favorite foods, or watching the "surrogate mother" keepers breastfeed and play with their newborn babies. In the car tour area, there are two ways for tourists to visit, one is to drive by car according to the route of the map to complete the visit; The other is to take the sightseeing train of the zoo, under the guidance and explanation of the staff, the tour takes 40 minutes ~ 1 hour. Whether you are driving by car or by train, you must pass through a disinfectant pool before entering the tourist area to prevent germs from being brought into the park. It should be noted that the terrain in the self-driving area is a bit tortuous, and visitors who want to drive should have good driving skills and always pay attention to the animals around them. As the animals in the area are free-roaming, visitors must stay in the car.

It is worth mentioning that the self-driving area in Chimelong will limit the total number of vehicles entering the park per day, so if you are visiting on holidays, you can arrive a little earlier. At the same time, in order to prevent tourists from feeding animals without authorization, all food is not allowed to enter the park. In the major pavilions of Chimelong Wildlife World, there are a variety of dining spots and souvenir shops. In addition to the well-known Chimelong Wildlife Park, Chimelong Bird Park is also one of the must-see attractions. As the largest ecological wetland park in China, Chimelong Bird Park has many rare birds, with a total of tens of thousands, and more than 1,500 baby birds are born here every year.

The park is divided into 9 different areas, including crocodile dance, crane bay, amphibian reptile hall, expansion area, surprise melon and fruit area, swan bay, pelican bay, night pavilion, and flamingo exhibition area. Among them, there are a variety of wetland birds such as red-crowned cranes, black-necked cranes, and flamingos living in Xianhe Bay, which is a paradise for all kinds of birds. The flamingo exhibit is home to a flock of "American flamingos", which are known as the reddest birds in the world. There is also a feeding spot in the exhibition area, where visitors can get up close and personal with them and take pictures. Pelican Bay is the largest and largest pelican habitat in South China, with a unique bird-watching boardwalk that provides visitors with the best bird-watching and photo-taking perspectives.
