Wuyang Muslim Hotel-Business Reviews

With a history of nearly 60 years, the Muslim Hotel was the first hotel in Guangzhou to serve Muslims, but it was relocated several times and even closed down, and finally resumed business in September 2000 after several twists and turns. Unlike other halal restaurants, Muslim restaurants operate three teas and two meals (morning tea, afternoon tea, afternoon tea; Lunch, dinner), in addition to providing a small number of Hui dishes, most of them are Cantonese dishes, such as shrimp dumplings, money tripe, lotus paste buns, boiled cabbage sum and other common dim sum, all of which are available here, and even a small number of Beijing dishes such as scallion and lamb slices are also included in the menu. 80% of the diners are elderly Guangzhouese, who can chat for a long time by ordering a pot of tea and a few dim sum, and a few Muslim diners also have Cantonese food on their tables, which is no different from other Cantonese tea restaurants. Halal morning tea is unique, Jiaomen oil fragrance is a must-order small sweet, similar to peach crisp, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and it is very delicious with hot tea. The beef and mutton haggis soup also has a good reputation, a little green onion to enhance the flavor, the soup is fresh and thick and the portion is not much, and the tea market is the most suitable. Snacks such as lamb skewers, refreshing lamb fork buns, milk-steamed lamb ribs, and Muslim beef buns are also worth trying. The Hui dishes in the main meal, the focus is on the grilled lamb chops, the surface is golden with a little oil, cumin is fragrant, and the product is good. In addition to carrying forward the traditional beef and mutton, the Muslim restaurant also absorbs the seasoning and cooking methods of Cantonese cuisine, and launches unique dishes such as honey lamb barbecued pork, Muslim pineapple beef cubes, pan-fried mutton dumplings, and Muslim roast goose. As for Cantonese refreshments, the signature scallion pancake has the best reputation, and with a little dried shrimp, the original bland taste has been improved a lot. Other dim sum products are good and bad, and there is nothing outstanding. It is worth mentioning that in the past year, a dim sum window has been added at the entrance of the Muslim Hotel, taking into account Cantonese snacks such as beef brisket noodles, leek dumplings, steamed shrimp and chicken jerky, as well as Muslim snacks such as beef buns, haggis soup, and Jiaomen oil fragrance. The renovated Middle Eastern style of the Muslim Hotel is more prominent, divided into two halls, the ordinary hall is 5 yuan for tea, and the tables, chairs and dining cloths are relatively old; The Tea Emperor Hall is slightly newer, the tea seat is seven yuan, and the box is named after the old towns of Guangzhou such as Xiguan, Yuexiu, Dongshan, and Lingnan. Although the conspicuous position indicates "no smoking", there are many diners who smoke. There are many regular customers here, and you can see the service staff chatting with the guests at any time, and young people come here to eat, more to feel the feelings.
