YOUNG CHANG How about the consumer piano Brand introduction

Founded in 1956 as a distributor of Yamaha pianos, Yamaha began to help Yingchang build a piano factory, shipping semi-finished pianos from Japan to the Incheon factory for final assembly and tuning, a relationship that lasted until 1975. After ending the cooperation with Yamaha, Yingchang began to manufacture its own brand pianos and sell them in the international market, in addition to its own brand, Yingchang also did OEM for Baldwin, Samsung and other small brands at that time.

In the 90s of the last century, Yingchang's international influence reached its peak. In 1991, 500,000 pianos were produced worldwide, of which 140,000 were made by Yingchang, which was the world's largest that year. In 1995, Joseph Pramberger, Vice President of Steinway & Sons, joined Intron to improve tone and design. In order to increase production capacity and open up the Chinese market, Yingchang established Tianjin Yingchang Piano Factory in China in 1993 to produce low-end models, and now Yingchang's own brand and its Weber are produced by Tianjin Yingchang, while the high-end Albert Weber is still produced by the Korean factory.

After the millennium, Yingchang achieved two milestones, one was acquired by South Korea's Hyundai Group in 2006, and the other was designed by American piano designer Delwin D. Fandrich in 2008, and the product was gradually launched in 2011-2012. In the 2017 Piano Buyer's consumer piano list, it is divided into three parts by country, South Korea (Samyi, Yingchang), Japan (Yamaha, Kawai), and "other countries", reflecting the status of Japan and South Korea in the piano world.

Yingchang sells more series in China, YA, YB, YC, YD, YE, YK, YP, YW, but in fact, several series made in China have not opened a gap in price, and most models are priced between 25,000-40,000 yuan, and the positioning is very vague.

Among the many series, there are two models imported from South Korea, Y118T2 MBCP and Y121T3 BBP, designed by Delwin D. Fandrich, all of which use spruce and maple wood action, 3A-grade fish scale pine solid wood soundboard, German Leslau strings, and British pure wool strings, with mellow and harmonious tones and rich changes, strong volume and flexible touch. In terms of price, there is a gap between the domestic Yingchang upright piano and the domestic Yingchang upright piano, which is about 50,000 yuan, but compared with Yamaha's U series, it still has full cost performance.
