Biquan Guzheng was founded in the 90s of the 20th century, produced by Yangzhou Zhengsheng National Musical Instrument Factory, and its strength is relatively good in Yangzhou Guzheng manufacturers, with an annual output of nearly 20,000 units of various national musical instruments, and its products are also more popular in the Guzheng market.

 

As one of the representatives of Yangzhou Zheng, Biquan was interviewed by CCTV in 2001 about the production process of its national musical instruments. In September 2004, Biquan brand guzheng won the gold medal in the first national high-end national musical instrument production competition.

 

Biquan Guzheng still continues the characteristics of Yangzhou Zheng, with a soft feel and a long aftersound, which is suitable for playing classical repertoire. Biquan does not have a clear series division in the model, and its popular zither price is about 2600 yuan, with uniform finishing lacquer, with lettering technology, simple and elegant. The price of the intermediate playing zither is about 3000-4000 yuan, and the "ebony plain" model is elegant and generous, with a smooth lacquer surface, but some of the corners are not carefully processed enough, and the surface of the corners is slightly rough. The price of Biquan high-end performance Zheng is similar to that of other brands, and it is more than 10,000 yuan, and the finishing material is made of more expensive materials such as golden silk nanmu, and the head, tail and side plate of the zither are carved technology, although the decoration is strong but slightly grand.
