Jin Yun and Ding Yun roughly continue the production method of Dunhuang Guzheng, but Jin Yun has not been particularly improved in the production process, so there are similarities with Dunhuang in timbre performance, the treble is clear and high-pitched, the midrange is mellow and full, and the bass is not rich enough. Compared with the hard playing feel of Dunhuang, the feel of Yangzhou Zheng is generally soft, and the same is true of Jin Yun. Jin Yun Guzheng has no series division in the model, the price of the popular Zheng is about 3000-4000 yuan, among which the "Feng Ya Song" model is the most popular, the head and tail of the Zheng are engraved technology, and the overall shape is graceful. The price of Jin Yun intermediate playing Zheng is around 5,000 yuan, among which the "Bingqing Yujie" model is more representative, the color of the iron knife wood material is elegant, and the tail part of the zither is decorated with a lotus pattern, which is treated by digging and polishing and other processes, so that the luodian pattern and the surface of the zither are integrated. Some of the strings of Jinyun Guzheng are not tough enough, and occasionally the strings are broken. The string specifications are generally determined by the manufacturers themselves, and the strings of the same number of different manufacturers are different in process and materials, and there will be differences in feel and timbre after assembly, so the strings are generally replaced with the original brand of strings after they are broken.
