Gulfstream brand introduction

Gulfstream logo

Gulfstream Aerospace Company, one of the top ten aircraft brands, began in the United States in 1958, a well-known manufacturer of luxury and large business jets, and was acquired by General Dynamics in 1999

Gulfstream Aerospace is currently the world's leading manufacturer of luxury and large business jets. It was fully acquired by General Dynamics in 1999, and its main products are the "Gulfstream" series of aircraft. In 1958, Grumman Aircraft Company, the predecessor of Gulfstream, launched the first business jet designed for business applications, the "Gulfstream I", and in 1966, the "Gulfstream II" created the large cockpit business jet market. In 1973, Aaron. E. Paulson bought the production line of the Gulfstream aircraft from Grumman for $2 million and took over the Gulfstream programs, and the Gulfstream Corporation was born. Subsequently, Gulfstream has developed and produced "Gulfstream III, IV, V" business jets, and currently only produces "Gulfstream IV-SP" and "Gulfstream V" series.

In June 2001, after General Dynamics took a controlling stake in Galaxy Aerospace (Israel Aircraft Industries), the company's Galaxy and Astra business jets were added to the Gulfstream series and renamed Gulfstream.

To date, Gulfstream has produced more than 1,300 aircraft, which are widely used in civil, commercial, government, private, and military applications.
